Netbook Reflection

Hi my name is Samira and I am 11 years old I go to Panmure Bridge School and I am in room 6 and I am year 7 student.

The positive things about my netbook is when my teacher sends me an activity to do in my netbook and when I finish it I can just put it in my folder and it’s easier to research my questions than looking in a book, if the answer is not in the book.

The negative things about my netbook is sometimes the internet is really slow and I can't get to my google docs and when I’m doing my work the battery needs charging and the netbook is going to shut down.

The unusual things about my netbook are my presentations because I haven’t done it in books and the writing is different because when we did it in our books we used pencil and pen and in our netbook we use keyboards.

My Mum

Her hair is straight
like a book cover.

Her eyes are brown
and they are brighter
than a star.
Her nose is  long.

Her heart is so sweet
I reach to touch it.
I love my mum best in the
whole wide world.

Day and Night

In the day children go to school to study and the teacher instructs them subjects.

In the night children come back to school to perform in a show.

A girl’s head

In it there is a
future that’s going
to happen and there’s
a test that was in the past.

And there is
a time machine
that will take her
into the future.

And there is
An entirely new room
an entirely new house
and entirely new bed.

There is a pirate
ship that only
she can go aboard.

There are
time tables she needs
to remember.

There is a brain that cannot
be controlled because there
are so many things happening

There is anti-quieter
And it cannot be depressed.

I believe
that only what cannot be held back is a head.

There is much promise in the fact that so many people have heads.

I really enjoyed going to tech and making my own plane. My plane looked awesome and cool, Mr Thomas helped us. I really appreciated his help.

I asked the little boy who cannot see

I asked the little boy who cannot see, ‘And what is colour like?’ ‘Why green,’ said he, ‘Is the soft touch of the grass as I walk through it. Blue is like the smell of the salty sea. Eating a capsicum as crunchy sound that’s red. Pink is like the smell of the roses going through your nose. Purple is the colour of a juicy plum when you’re eating it. Yellow is the colour of a delicious banana peeling off the skin. And white is like the softest tissue on my nose.
